When signing up for volleyball, you can choose between playing in the Tuesday or Saturday competition. The name refers to the day you play your matches, not when you train. Training sessions take place on Mondays and/or Thursdays, depending on your team.

Here’s a quick overview of the two options:

Saturday Competition

  •  More competitive and serious level

  • You play both home and away matches

  • Matches are played in four (or five) sets

  • Home matches often have a lively atmosphere

  • Great if you’re looking for a more intense volleyball experience

Tuesday Competition

  • A bit more relaxed and student-friendly

  • All matches are played in Tilburg on Tuesday evenings

  • Matches last three sets

  • No travel, and your weekends are free

  • Ideal for students or players who want a more casual experience

In addition to being a competition member, you can also choose to become an NCS member. This means you won’t play matches, but you can still join the trainings and keep improving your volleyball skills in a fun way.
